Job Overview
Elysium Healthcare, a leading provider of Mental Health services, is seeking a highly experienced and inspiring CAMHS Clinical Service Manager to join our team in Potters Bar. This permanent position offers a pivotal opportunity to lead a specialist CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) unit, taking full accountability for its operational, strategic, and financial performance.
In this role, you will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive clinical care to young people. Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the operational, strategic, and financial management of the CAMHS Service.

Ensure safe, effective, and responsive clinical care at all times.

Manage rota planning and staffing levels to maintain quality of care.

Respond promptly to referrals, ensuring timely and appropriate patient intake.

Promote and embed best clinical practices and a positive team culture.

Collaborate with other managers and provide cover for Acute services when required.

Enforce HR policies and resolve concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate dashboards for reporting and oversight.

Oversee staff supervision, appraisals, and professional development.

Conduct audits and monitor action plans to continually improve standards.

Manage daily clinical operations for seamless service delivery.

Ensure clinical standards align with best practices.

Foster a learning culture from adverse events.

Keep patient care plans up to date, person-centred, and recovery-focused.

Ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with GDPR.

Report ward-to-board information accurately.

Handle complaints and investigations in a timely manner.

Maintain compliance with CQC and Safeguarding requirements.

Provide high clinical visibility and act as a role model for staff.
Qualifications

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) qualification.

Previous experience as a Ward Manager within a CAMHS setting.

Strong leadership and team-inspiration skills.

Proven ability to manage operational, strategic, and financial aspects of a service.

Skilled in rota management, clinical governance, and quality improvement.

Proficient in managing staff development, audits, and compliance processes.

Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC regulations, and GDPR compliance.

Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
