Job Overview
Burger King in Pottsville, PA is looking for a driven and team-focused Restaurant Assistant Manager to help lead our crew in delivering fast, friendly service and great-tasting food. Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise and support daily operations alongside the General Manager

Lead and coach team members to maintain performance, morale, and adherence to company standards

Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest issues professionally

Oversee food preparation, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards

Manage inventory levels and conduct routine ordering and stocking

Monitor cash handling, deposits, and register accuracy

Ensure smooth opening, mid, and closing shifts by delegating tasks and managing priorities

Train new employees and support ongoing team development

Maintain compliance with all Burger King policies and local/state regulations
Qualifications

1–3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting

Strong leadership and team management skills

Exceptional customer service and communication abilities

Proficiency in restaurant operations, inventory systems, and cash handling

Knowledge of food safety guidelines ServSafe certification preferred

Ability to problem-solve under pressure and make quick, confident decisions

Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Working Conditions

This is an in-person role at the Burger King location in Pottsville, PA

Frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 pounds) in a fast-paced restaurant environment
