Duties and Responsibilities

Operate CNC brake press machines to bend and form sheet metal components to precise specifications.

Set up brake press machines, including tooling and programming adjustments, to meet production requirements.

Identify and select appropriate materials based on job orders and specifications.

Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent quality and troubleshoot minor issues as they arise.

Collaborate with fabrication, quality control, and engineering teams to meet production schedules.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Record production data accurately for reporting and quality assurance purposes.
Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience operating CNC brake press machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and material properties.

Ability to set up and adjust machine tooling and programs to meet production specifications.

Familiarity with identifying various metal types and thicknesses used in fabrication.
