Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the process of managing customer orders in close collaboration with sales, procurement, finance, expediting, and logistics teams.
  • Accurately enter customer parts into the SAP order entry system, meticulously verifying order specifications, sizes, and shipment details against purchase orders (POs).
  • Manage customer parts in accordance with mill lead times, campaign runs, and complex shipping constraints.
  • Resolve discrepancies swiftly and effectively through expediting, mode management, or cross-application solutions.
  • Oversee inventory management and release processes to ensure timely delivery of automotive parts.
  • Provide proactive solutions for issues such as forecast discrepancies, late production, shipping constraints, or processing backlogs.
  • Analyze changes in customer forecasts and promptly update SAP accordingly.
  • Prepare and provide essential quality, production, shipping, and customs documents to customers.
  • Offer clear explanations and conduct thorough root cause analysis on KPI misses to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of alertness and a proactive approach to anticipate and address potential issues.
  • Demonstrate rapid decision-making in critical situations, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain.
  • Apply effective problem-solving techniques to a wide array of customer and logistical challenges.
  • Utilize clear communication (verbal and written) when interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure timely escalation of critical issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in crisis management when faced with unforeseen operational disruptions.
  • Foster strong collaboration and teamwork with all internal and external partners.
  • Apply excellent time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Mid-Level (Demonstrated experience of 5+ years in customer service preferred).
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in related field (Preferred).
  • Required Skills:
