Alliance Inspection Management, LLC (AiM) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Auto Damage Auction Inspector to join our team in Waverly, New York. As an Auction Inspector, you’ll play a critical role in evaluating vehicles for damage, reporting findings with precision, and helping maintain integrity in the auto auction process.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect and assess vehicles at auction sites for visible damage, missing parts, and mechanical conditions.

Accurately document damage and wear using AiM’s inspection tools and software.

Capture high-quality digital photos of vehicles and components.

Utilize handheld devices to enter inspection data on-site.

Communicate inspection results clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders when needed.

Ensure compliance with client-specific guidelines and quality control standards.

Collaborate with team members to meet scheduling and inspection volume goals.

Maintain safety protocols and a professional demeanor at all times on auction lots.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or automotive background is a plus.

Attention to detail and an eye for spotting damage, inconsistencies, and abnormalities.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Analytical thinker with solid computer and tech skills (tablet usage, mobile apps, digital cameras).

Must be a team player with flexibility and a sense of urgency.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Salary and Benefits
This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $18.00 – $20.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
