Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEN and SEMH needs on a day-to-day basis.

  • Help students build self-confidence and motivation.

  • Establish strong and consistent relationships through a compassionate approach.

  • Remain calm and composed in challenging or high-stress situations.

  • Provide emotional support through active listening and empathy.

  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times.

  • Assist students in overcoming behavioural and learning barriers.

  • Collaborate with school staff to create a safe, inclusive environment.

  • Identify and escalate concerns or risk factors when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Entry-level (no prior experience required).

  • Education: A degree in Psychology, Criminology, Social Science, or a related field is highly valued.

  • Key Skills:

    • Must be eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

    • Must be able to commute to Dorking.

    • Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check.

Salary and Benefits
