Duties and Responsibilities

Work directly with students, providing support in both 1:1 and small group settings.

Plan learning activities to suit pupil ability, with support and guidance from a qualified teacher.

Encourage the development of social skills and support students’ individual needs.

Provide academic and pastoral support as a trusted and reliable presence.

Build effective relationships with students in a nurturing environment.

Remain calm and resilient in situations of stress or conflict.

Apply a caring and empathetic approach, acting as a good listener.

Collaborate with teachers and support staff.

Identify and escalate student well-being or academic concerns.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, or a related field.

Willingness to work 1:1 and in small group settings.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Passion for student development and support.

Calm, patient, and resilient character.

Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Willingness to apply for Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check.

Experience with SEN students (desirable but not required).
Salary and Benefits
This full-time role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from £1,800 – £2,100, depending on experience.
