Job Overview
Academics Ltd, a leading specialist in Education and Training recruitment, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join a supportive school in Farnham, Surrey. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work directly with students, providing support in both 1:1 and small group settings.

  • Plan learning activities to suit pupil ability, with support and guidance from a qualified teacher.

  • Encourage the development of social skills and support students’ individual needs.

  • Provide academic and pastoral support as a trusted and reliable presence.

  • Build effective relationships with students in a nurturing environment.

  • Remain calm and resilient in situations of stress or conflict.

  • Apply a caring and empathetic approach, acting as a good listener.

  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff.

  • Identify and escalate student well-being or academic concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, or a related field.

  • Willingness to work 1:1 and in small group settings.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Passion for student development and support.

  • Calm, patient, and resilient character.

  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

  • Willingness to apply for Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check.

  • Experience with SEN students (desirable but not required).

Salary and Benefits
This full-time role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from £1,800 – £2,100, depending on experience. Working Conditions
