Duties and Responsibilities

Perform angiographic and radiographic procedures, ensuring adherence to established safety and quality protocols

Operate complex imaging systems and positioning equipment during interventional and diagnostic procedures

Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams in real-time during cardiac cath lab or angio suite procedures

Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and understanding of the procedure

Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations during procedures

Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures, patient data, and physician notes

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and institutional protocols for health information security

Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment for peak performance and cleanliness

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency cases as needed
Qualifications

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT RT(R))

Current Oregon Radiologic Technologist License

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required for GSR Cardiac Cath Lab assignments

At least one (1) year of hospital-based experience in a Cath Lab or Angiography setting preferred

Working knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with interventional radiology practices

Strong teamwork skills, especially in fast-paced or high-pressure environments

Ability to multitask, manage stress, and maintain attention to detail in critical situations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both clinical staff and patients

Working Conditions
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Corvallis, Oregon, within a hospital clinical environment. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting equipment or assisting patients, and responding to emergency cases. Angio Techs must be comfortable in high-stress environments such as operating rooms and cardiac cath labs. Rotational on-call shifts and occasional overtime may be required, especially for emergency and after-hours procedures.
