Key Responsibilities
- Own and close inbound deals from high-intent users, guiding them through the sales process to successful conversion.
- Expand usage within existing accounts by identifying cross-functional needs and executing upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Support and Success teams to transform reactive customer questions into valuable revenue moments.
- Conduct insightful discovery calls and engaging product demos to showcase the power of Captions’ AI tools.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and objectives, becoming a trusted advisor.
- Work with internal teams (Customer Success, Marketing, and Product) to optimize the sales process and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, consistently driving revenue growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and product developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, ideally in a Product-Led Growth (PLG) or SaaS environment.
- Comfortable owning a quota and managing the full sales cycle with a consultative approach.
- Possess strong product intuition, quickly grasping how technology solves user problems.
- Experience handling inbound volume and closing “land and expand” deals.
- Proactive, customer-centric, and scrappy in your approach to sales.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Salary and Benefits
This full-time Account Executive position offers an On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $130,000 – $160,000 yearly.
